Role:
We are looking for an experienced M&E Coordinator to join our client’s team on a permanent basis. The M&E Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and managing the Mechanical and Electrical elements of multiple construction projects.
Responsibilities:
* Coordination and management of M&E sub-contractors and suppliers.
* Ensuring M&E works are completed in accordance with project specifications, drawings, and schedules.
* Managing the production and distribution of M&E sub-contractor schedules, design drawings, and relevant reports
* Ensuring timely submission of O&M manuals, BC(A)R procedures
* Ensuring all M&E systems are installed and tested in accordance with industry standards and regulations
* Collaborating with other departments to resolve technical issues and coordinate site works
* Ensuring all M&E works are completed within budget and to the highest quality standards
* Assisting in the preparation of detailed tender documentation
Requirements:
* A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar M&E Coordination role within the construction industry
* Strong technical knowledge of M&E building services, including electrical and mechanical systems, control systems, and building management systems
* Experience working on multiple projects, with the ability to coordinate and manage M&E sub-contractors and suppliers
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with project teams, stakeholders, and clients
* Strong attention to detail, with a focus on quality and accuracy
* Experience and proficiency with IT systems and knowledge of AutoCAD
* Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks and priorities
