About the Role:
We are currently seeking an experienced HGV Mechanic to join our client’s team in Cannock. This is a full-time, temp-to-perm position with an immediate start. You will be working as part of a dedicated vehicle maintenance team, mainly servicing DAF HGV rigid trucks used for transporting building materials. Your primary responsibilities will include preparing vehicles for MOT, servicing, and carrying out repairs on a fleet of 32 vehicles.

Key Details:

* Pay Rate: £18-£19 per hour (based on experience and referenceable work history)

* Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 AM – 16:00 PM

* Contract Type: Full-time, Temporary (with the opportunity to become permanent)

* Immediate Start Available

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare vehicles for MOT inspections

* Perform regular servicing and repairs on the fleet

* Work as part of a small, efficient maintenance team
