Mechanical Design Engineer

V7 are working with a leading engineering client who operate in the Water Industry. They are undergoing significant growth and expanding all areas of the business.
They are looking to take on a Design Engineer on a permanent basis.

On offer is a salary of circa £40,000 plus benefits.
You will play an imperative role in the forward growth of the business and you will have significant opportunities to progress
Key duties:
* Creating site layouts & equipment general assembly’s (3D Inventor).
* Reviewing and adhering to project specifications & applicable standards.
* Project planning to adhere to submission requirements.
* Attend project meetings both internally & with clients.
* Perform project engineer/management tasks.
* Input to & maintain design risk register.
* Assess civil work requirements to suit equipment.
* Perform detailed engineering calculations (including utilizing Mathcad).
* Detailed design for outsourced manufacturing, installation, maintenance & decommissioning of equipment.
* Creating detailed Parts lists/BOM with applicable software
