Role: Mechanical Design Engineer

Location: Measham, Leicestershire

Sector: Automotive / Automation Systems / Assembly Tooling

Salary: £35k – £50k (depending on level of experience)

If you’re a Mechanical Design Engineer aiming to advance your career in the Automotive sector by collaborating with top-tier manufacturers, and you possess expertise in any of the following areas:

* Special Purpose Machinery / Material Handling / Automated Systems (Automotive)

* Jigs & Fixtures

* DC Tooling / Assembly Tooling / End of line Tooling

* Autodesk Inventor (or willing to learn)

Then this might just be the role for you.

You will oversee the execution of numerous advanced technical projects, engaging in the complete design cycle of the products you develop, from conceptualisation to 3D modeling. Your proficiency in manufacturing processes/knowledge of materials and defining testing criteria will be essential, ensuring efficient and effective design handover to the delivery team.
