We’re Looking For A: National Account Manager, Amazon to be accountable for the planning and execution of self-built strategic plans for various Amazon business segments. The position manages relationships with key contacts and develops and maintains internal processes to ensure execution of plans. Additionally, it is responsible for developing sales execution priorities of Pricing, Distribution, Promotion and Shelving in a virtual shelf/store.

What You’ll Be Doing: Oversee the daily operations of prominent national accounts, managing key brands and orchestrating expansion efforts to meet and exceed gross sales targets, new item distribution goals, and various brand/item objectives. Additionally, provide support in overseeing day-to-day operations for other existing brands as required.

Showcase comprehensive knowledge of the industry, channels, and competitors, fostering connections with customers by delivering well-informed insights into products, nutrition, and market trends.

Collaborate with the PPC Specialist to align PPC strategies with overall brand goals and actively participate in their implementation. Work closely with the Marketing Manager to ensure that marketing, content, and promotional strategies are in sync with brand objectives.

Conduct in-depth analytics of sales data, promotional activities, and market trends to develop strategic plans and actively contribute to their implementation.

Partner with the Director of eCommerce to identify process improvements and spearhead the implementation of new initiatives.

Take ownership of day-to-day activities related to assigned Amazon businesses, developing comprehensive annual plans encompassing Distribution, Pricing, Promotion, and Virtual Shelving. Provide recommendations for forecasted sales, monthly spending, and an annual promotional calendar.

Craft and deliver fact-based, analytical, and compelling sales presentations that offer ongoing education and valuable category management insights.

Foster collaboration across all functional areas of Golden Hippo, including Finance, Supply Chain, Customer Service, IT, Customer Marketing, and Product Development.

Develop and execute customer-level strategies and tactics, ensuring that planned programs are not only effective and efficient but also deliver the desired return on investment.

Proficient in cultivating brands and product development strategies specifically tailored for the Amazon platform.

Demonstrate a proactive approach to task ownership, exhibiting the ability to drive execution seamlessly from initiation to completion.

Excel in building successful relationships both externally and internally, navigating challenging conversations with honesty and courage.

Shape and implement strategic plans by anticipating business requirements, ensuring they align with organizational goals, and ultimately delivering tangible results.

Apply critical thinking to assess and capitalize on business opportunities, showcasing creative problem-solving skills.

5 years of experience in eCommerce or retail

3 years of experience building brands on Amazon

2 years of management experience

Has a proven track record of achieving and surpassing sales volume, spending, and profitability goals.

3 Years of Sales Experience in Consumer-Packaged Goods with Pet focus preferred
