Overview of the role

This role is a fast paced, customer focused sales role, which will be dealing with potential new customers, with a view to maximising sales opportunities, with a high level of customer satisfaction.

Roles and Responsibilities

* Quote and follow up with live new business prospects, enquiring about an insurance policy

* Achieve key sales metrics as outlined by line manager

* Provide an excellent customer experience by engaging with customers and ensuring their requirements are satisfied

* Learn the full suite of products offered, with the assistance of a full onboarding and ongoing development plan in order to provide customers with accurate advice on policy coverage

* Maintain a high level of productivity, focussing on organising your pipeline of upcoming renewals throughout the month

Skills and Experience

* Previous experience within the insurance or sales industry (Desirable)

* Understanding of or experience working in a targeted sales environment

* Microsoft Office skills in Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

* Experience in successfully prioritising tasks in a professional environment

* Ability to thrive in a competitive sales environment

* Ability to self-motivate and work well as part of a team

* Hold or be working towards (or willing to work towards) Cert CII qualification (Desirable)
