About this position:
Got experience in Operations? My client is the leading manufacturer in advanced LED lighting systems for commercial trucks, buses and trailers. They are also an innovation epicenter for the transportation and defense industries. Within those innovations, they’re spearheading the integration of electric and autonomous technologies into commercial and military vehicle lighting. As an Operations Manager you will lead and manage the operations team including support functions to achieve Safety, Cost, Quality and Delivery objectives, and provide customer service excellence.
Responsibilities:
* To participate fully and actively in the development of Manufacturing’s capabilities
* To create and maintain a ‘can do’ attitude which provides internal and external customers with an outstanding level of customer service
* Manage and report out on projects
* Facilitate VSM sessions
* Mentor and coach on management and manufacturing core skills
Experience Required:
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar position within a manufacturing environment
* Basic levels of excel – pivot/ lookups
* Understanding of lean Manufacturing
Desirable Experience:
* Automotive manufacturing experience
* Experience in developing new managers/teams
* Experience in conducting VSM’s
