Role: Part-Time Alzheimer’s Nurse
Client: Private Individual (87-year-old)
About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced nurse to provide specialized care for an 87-year-old individual living with Alzheimer’s in Nuneaton. This part-time position offers flexible shift patterns tailored to fit your schedule while ensuring the highest standard of care for our client.
Responsibilities:
* Delivering person-centered care tailored to the unique needs of an individual with Alzheimer’s.
* Assisting with daily activities, including medication administration, hygiene, and mobility support.
* Monitoring and recording health conditions, reporting changes to the family or medical professionals as necessary.
* Providing companionship and emotional support to enhance quality of life.
* Creating a safe and comforting environment that fosters independence where possible.
Requirements:
* Valid nursing qualification (NMC registered).
* Previous experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s or dementia is highly desirable.
* Compassionate, patient, and understanding demeanor.
* Strong communication skills to liaise with family members and other caregivers.
* Flexibility to work part-time shifts, including some evenings or weekends if required.
