Part-time Payroll Assistant in Blandford, paying £27,500 FTE (c.£14-15 per hour. 21 hours per week)

They are looking to appoint a part-time Payroll Assistant, 21 hours per week, to become part of their team.
Your new role
The core of this exciting, varied new role as a Payroll Assistant will be to accurately process and manage employee payroll data for approx 300 employees. This will include timesheets, pay changes, deductions and tax updates. Other duties you will be responsible for include:
Preparing and issuing necessary payroll documentation such as payslips, P45s, P60s and BACS payment requests,
Liaising with the Head of Finance and Head of HR for data submissions and reporting.
Administrating and submitting the pension schemes for staff and responding to any pension scheme enquiries.
What you’ll need to succeed
Experience in monthly payroll and employee benefits, including manual calculations.
The proven ability to work with highly confidential information.
Well-developed IT skills, including the use of internal systems for inputting and reporting, MS Word and Excel
Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with the finance team and across the wider organisation.
Effective time management, with the flexibility to adapt to the changing payroll deadlines each month.
