Our Outpatient Rehabilitation Services Department is on the lookout for a dynamic Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team. You’ll be the hero helping patients regain their strength and independence, all while enjoying the stunning views of Juneau or Sitka!
    *What You’ll Do:*
    * *Therapy Treatments:* Work your magic from the physical therapist’s plan of care, focusing on PT goals and implementing top-notch PTA services.
    * *Team Collaboration:* Team up with other healthcare superheroes to ensure patients have the right medical equipment and a solid care plan before discharge.
    * *Documentation:* Keep meticulous records of patient encounters, treatments, diagnoses, and recommendations according to hospital policies.
    * *Timely Services:* Provide timely services to both in-patient and out-patient populations in various settings.
    * *Patient Education:* Empower patients and their families with self-care techniques, fostering a healthcare partnership.
    *What You Bring:*
    * *Education:* An associate degree from a CAPTE accredited program.
    * *Licenses:* Licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant and current Basic Life Support CPR certification.
    * *Experience:* Acute care hospital and clinical out-patient experience preferred.
    * *Other:* A valid driver’s license and a high school diploma or equivalent.
