We are hiring an ambitious and forward-thinking planning manager to join our established and growing team in Toronto.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

Delivering, and where possible exceeding the clients’ expectations across the following areas of responsibility within a large, multidisciplinary program delivery team.
Managing IPD best practices to be incorporated in management of contracts.
Engaging all key stakeholders on contract transformation under the PDP/IPDT model.
Managing IPD practices that are part of procedures, processes and training in the management of contracts.
Managing the change in model and structure related to planning and schedule management among the PDP commercial team and vendor community.
Supporting the review to existing planning and schedule processes and procedures, and update based on IPDT model best practices.
Ensuring updated processes align across GOE program and achieve best for program decision making.
Supporting the development and implementation program-wide project requirements that the projects must comply with for planning and scheduling to improve consistency and support the program delivery approach including aligning and enhancing the current project procedures.
Supporting the development and deployment a program contingency management process.
Managing planning and schedule management IPDT procedures, systems and toolsets for the program management of contracts across the program.
Supporting a program-wide view of planning and schedule considerations, assure consistency of approach.
Supporting projects and their supply chains to deliver efficiently and effectively.
Taking a program approach to removing consistent causes of cost and schedule overrun.
Sharing best practice and lessons learned across the program.
Managing consistency of delivery approach, standardizing program and project procedures ensuring integration and compliance with statutory and the client requirements.
Managing and providing for “Best for Program” decision making by creating the capability of consistent and real time reporting linked to the program control center to establish decision making capability, which is joined up, knowledge led and aligned to program level outcomes and objectives.
Supporting program level risk management.
Identifying and mitigating risks/issues and optimization of opportunities across all aspects of the program.
Supporting stakeholder engagement at a program level as required by the stakeholder management plan.
Providing consistent management in the area of planning and schedule management to program management stakeholders / colleagues that are dedicated to each of the program delivery units.
Supporting in the management of stakeholder, vendor, contractor and project team relationships.
Advising and supporting transforming of delivery team and supply chain cultures through new delivery models.
Providing full capability in the area of planning and schedule management to program management stakeholders that are dedicated to each of the program delivery units.
About You

You have IPDT delivery model experience. You have planning and schedule management experience in rail and transit projects. You have a degree or equivalent with professional work experience in the commercial and contract management disciplines. You hold or are working towards professional qualification. You have knowledge and experience in Power BI.

You have demonstrated experience in contract administration and contract management of large capital programs. You have planning and schedule management experience on large capital transit projects. You have experience in planning and scheduling in the development of innovative, methodical and robust solutions and procedures to resolve difficult contract issues, disputes and claims while adhering to policies and contract terms. You persuade and influence others successfully towards a desired course of action. You demonstrate a better perspective and explore innovative approaches in pursuit of a better way. You utilize new technology and help others to adapt. You present clearly and communicate effectively, in a confident manner, with your audience in mind. You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships and provide support to strong, motivated construction teams.
