PLASMA CUTTER/ PLASMA MACHINIST

We are recruiting for a Plasma Cutter/Plasma Machinist to work for our client who are in Sheffield, South Yorkshire

THE DUTIES OF A PLASMA CUTTER:

* Plasma burning / Plasma cutting metal products.

* Be competent in setting and operating plasma machines

* Read and understand engineering drawings

* Cut steel ranging from 3mm-20mm in thickness

* Ensure all products are cut accurately to specifications

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCES & SKILLS:

* Minimum 2 years’ experience working within an engineering environment

* Excellent communication skills

* Ability to work from specifications, drawings, and instructions

* Experience operating a plasma-cutting machine

* Meticulous attention to quality checks against specifications

* Prior experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment is desirable

THE HOURS:

Days : Monday Thursday 7am 4pm; Friday 7am 3pm

THE PAY:

You will earn an hourly rate of £13.50.
