As a Cybersecurity Platform Architect for “No-code/Low-code platforms” at Siemens you will drive and develop security initiatives and roadmaps in close collaboration with the IT service-owners and vendors to address the organization’s cyber security needs and meet business demands.
What are my responsibilities?
Cybersecurity Leadership: Drive the development and enhancement of no-code/low-code platforms, including Siemens� Mendix and Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Copilot Studio, and Power Pages). Identify and address platform-specific cybersecurity issues, evaluate risks, and recommend robust solutions
Expert Guidance: Provide experienced advice on the use of Mendix and Microsoft Power Platform applications. Support cybersecurity aspects throughout the Software Development Lifecycle and guide integrations with Microsoft 365 services and third-party applications
Collaborative Development: Work closely with IT workload owners and platform architects to develop secure IT infrastructure and architectures. Design resilient and scalable services and solutions based on Siemens� no-code/low-code platforms
Risk Management: Implement a clear risk management approach to bridge the gap between technical specialists and management. Clearly assess risks and derive appropriate measures to mitigate them to an acceptable level
Technical Insights: Offer technical insights and recommendations to senior management and support IT and business teams within projects, ensuring efficiency and operational excellence in deploying and managing no-code/low-code solutions.
Task Force Leadership: Lead and participate in task forces to address projects and incidents related to the platforms. Collaborate effectively with IT teams and business providers and prepare decision papers for stakeholders
What do I need to qualify for this job?
Bachelor University degree in computer science, IT security or related fields
At least 5 years of experience in IT with focus on cybersecurity especially regarding Cloud SaaS Solutions, Software Development Procedures, and Software Integration topics
Knowledge of cybersecurity standards such as ISO27001 and NIST. Certificates like e.g. Microsoft PL-400, PL-600 or SC-100-400 are a plus
Proficiency with no-code/low-code platforms like Microsoft Power Platform or Mendix. Deep understanding of Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Copilot Studio, and Power Pages
Cybersecurity Platform Architecture: proven skills in building, reviewing and maintaining the security architecture of a platform plus proven skills in crafting scalable and resilient solutions using these platforms
Integration Knowledge: Experience integrating Power Platform with other Microsoft 365 services (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive) and third-party applications
Risk Management: Ability to assess and mitigate risks associated with no-code/low-code platforms. Solid skills in defining and maintaining a threat landscape for these platforms
Governance and Compliance: Knowledge of governance, compliance, and security best practices within the Power Platform ecosystem
Additional experience in Azure, Entra ID, Microsoft Purview Portal, Microsoft Defender or Dynamics would be effective
Experience in project coordination and consultancy roles, preferably with international exposure
Strong problem-solving skills, analytical skills and a solution-focused approach
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with fluency in English
Attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
