Job Description: Plumbing and Mechanical Manager
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Plumbing and Mechanical Manager to oversee all aspects of plumbing and mechanical operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing and heating systems, possess Gas Safe certification, and demonstrate excellent project management skills.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management
Plan, coordinate, and oversee plumbing and mechanical projects from inception to completion.
Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resources.
Ensure compliance with UK building regulations and industry standards.
Technical Oversight
Oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing, heating, and HVAC systems.
Ensure all work complies with Gas Safe regulations and other relevant safety standards.
Troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement effective solutions.
Team Leadership
Manage and coordinate mechanical site teams, providing guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
Supervise and train plumbers, technicians, and subcontractors.
Foster a culture of safety and quality workmanship.
Liaise with clients and contractors
Qualifications and Requirements
Gas Safe registration is mandatory
Proven experience in plumbing and mechanical roles.
Relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing and Heating or equivalent.
Skills and Competencies
Excellent project management and organizational skills.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Benefits
Competitive salary range: £40,000 – £50,000 per annum, depending on experience, company vehicle etc
