Powder Coater

Major Recruitment is looking to hire Powder Coaters / Spray Painters to join our client, a leading fabrication company based in Nottingham! This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with a passion for quality craftsmanship to contribute to a dynamic team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Apply powder coating materials to various metal parts using spray equipment or other methods as required.

* Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, or masking to ensure proper adhesion of powder coating materials.

* Handle and move parts into and out of wash and oven systems efficiently and safely.

* Mask off areas of parts that do not require coating, ensuring precise application and quality finishing.

* Inspect finished parts for defects and ensure they meet quality standards before moving to the next stage of production.

* Assist with the maintenance and cleaning of powder coating equipment

Working Hours and Pay:

* Shifts: AM OR rotational PM/NIGHTS both avaliable

* Days: Monday to Friday

* Hours: 06:00-14:00 / 14:00-22:00 / 22:00-06:00 (8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week)

* Overtime: Paid at x1.5 over 40 hours

* Breaks: 10 min and 30 min break PAID

* Pay Rate: Negotiable between £11.44-£13.50 DOE
