Practice Bookkeeper (Full or Part-time)

TPF Recruitment, the leading provider of accountancy practice professionals are currently supporting one of their clients located in Oxted, currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join their friendly and growing team. This role offers the flexibility to work in either a full-time or part-time capacity, making it an excellent opportunity for those seeking work-life balance.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records for a variety of clients

Managing accounts payable and receivable

Preparing and submitting VAT returns

Bank reconciliations

Processing payroll

Handling general bookkeeping tasks and financial reporting

Liaising with clients to address and resolve queries

Assisting with the preparation of management accounts

Requirements

Requirements:
A minimum of 18 months’ experience in a bookkeeping role.
Ideally AAT Level 3 qualified, or working towards this qualification.
Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage is highly desirable.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
Good communication abilities, both written and verbal, with a client-focused approach.

Benefits

Competitive starting salary of £25,000 – £30,000, subject to experience

Flexibility to work full-time or part-time (minimum 22.5 hours up to 37.5 hours per week)
