Principal Consultant – NetSuite

MARS are recruiting a Professional Services, Principal Consultant with a strong focus on NetSuite expertise to join a dynamic team. In this role, you will lead high-quality ERP implementations and technical integrations, with a particular emphasis on maximising the potential of the NetSuite platform. You will manage multiple projects concurrently, and serve as a technical escalation point, while also engaging in high-level conversations with customers to drive strategic outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• NetSuite ERP Implementation & Delivery: Lead complete NetSuite projects-from scoping and planning to proof-of-concept-ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Technical Integration & Consulting: Design and implement integrations between NetSuite and third-party systems, while providing hands-on configuration and supporting pre-sales demos.
• High-Level Customer Engagement: Engage with customers and executives to understand challenges, communicate ERP benefits, and develop tailored strategies.
• Mentorship & Collaboration: Mentor junior consultants and work with cross-functional teams to continuously refine processes and enhance service delivery.

Qualifications & Experience

• NetSuite Expertise:
  • Extensive hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP implementations, including configuration, customisation, and integrations.
  • Proven track record of leveraging NetSuite’s capabilities to deliver tailored ERP solutions that meet diverse business needs.
  • Familiarity with NetSuite certifications and a deep understanding of its modules and functionalities.
• Technical & Integration Skills:
  • Strong expertise in designing and executing integration solutions that connect NetSuite with various third-party systems.
  • Experience managing multi-faceted projects with a focus on data mapping, system interfacing, and ensuring seamless data flows.
  • Solid understanding of cloud-based ERP environments and accounting principles.
• Customer & Communication Skills:
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to have high-level, strategic conversations with customers and executive stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to translate technical concepts into business benefits and articulate complex solutions in clear, compelling terms.
• Professional Attributes:
  • Demonstrated project management skills with a history of delivering large-scale ERP projects.
  • A proactive, “can-do” attitude, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Tertiary qualifications are desirable; relevant certifications (e.g., NetSuite Certification) are highly valued.
