Our team provides strategic advice across Corporate Affairs, Reputation Management, Issues and Crisis, Capital Markets, and Corporate Turnaround and Restructuring situations.

The Role

We are looking to add a Principal Consultant to our team. Candidates will typically have experience in either agency roles such as Practice Head or Group Account Director, or in-house experience as Head of Corporate Affairs, Communications, or a similar function.

You will be responsible for all elements of client strategy, service, and experience, including:

  • Leading the development and execution of communications strategies and providing expert counsel to clients that protects and manages their reputation.
  • Managing and mentoring team members to deliver impactful work supporting our growth.
  • Identifying new business opportunities and actively participating in proposal writing, pitches, and other initiatives to expand our client portfolio.
  • Staying across industry trends, the media landscape, and public sentiment, offering clients insights and recommendations on how to leverage relevant opportunities.
  • Adaptable: Willing to tackle any challenge, even those outside your usual skill set, understanding that solving client problems often requires new approaches.
  • Solution-Oriented: “Never say never” — when one door closes, you quickly find another way forward.
  • Pragmatic: Able to balance the possible with the urgent, as we’re often trusted to help clients prioritise in fast-paced situations.
