Process Safety Engineer

As a (Process) Safety Engineer in the energy and EPCm sector, you play a crucial role in ensuring the safety in design and integrity of our operations. Your main responsibility is to identify, assess and manage process safety and other safety in design risks. Think of (Process)Safety Engineering management/ (Environmental) Permit applications/ Technical & Process Safety/ Environmental Engineering/ Fire Safety/ Human Factor/ Sustainability/ Noise control (environmental and workplace), and of course, being the specialist on a project.

Key Responsibilities

– You support, facilitate and advise on process safety and other safety in design matters, especially on investment projects.

– You are the point of contact on process safety and safety in design issues

– You are responsible for facilitating and performing safety studies such as Process Safety and other Safety studies

– You have a key role in major projects to ensure that process safety and safety in design is given proper attention.

Qualifications

– Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Safety, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.

– Familiar with international, European and Dutch rules and regulations related to licensing and Safety in Design.

– Able to report to authorities in Dutch.

And specific knowledge and experience for the specialist functions, including Sound, Permit(Environment) and Fire Safety.
