Requirements: This role requires a unique blend of analytical skills, user empathy, business acumen, product marketing fundamentals, and creativity to drive product improvements and innovations that lead to significant growth outcomes. By leveraging data analytics, user experience insights, and innovative growth hacking techniques, the Growth Product Manager aims to optimise activation and retention metrics and achieve aggressive growth targets.
What you will be doing: Analyse data from a variety of sources to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement. Design and execute A/B tests and other experiments to rapidly test hypotheses and measure the impact of growth initiatives.
Collaborate closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer success teams to implement growth initiatives and ensure a cohesive user experience.
Identify and scale successful experiments and initiatives to leverage growth opportunities across the product and other areas of the company. Conduct user research and competitive analysis to understand market trends, user needs, and behaviours. Use insights to inform growth strategies and product decisions.
Prioritize and manage the roadmap for feature development and optimization efforts that drive growth metrics. This includes onboarding experiences, viral features, referral programs, and retention mechanisms. Set, monitor, and analyse key metrics related to growth, such as conversion rates, customer acquisition cost (CAC), lifetime value (LTV), and retention rates. Adjust strategies based on performance data.
Communicate growth strategies, experiment results, and data-driven insights to stakeholders and the broader company to ensure alignment and support for growth initiatives. What you will bring: Proven experience in a growth product management role, preferably in a tech product company with a focus on e-commerce or marketplace, with a track record of delivering growth outcomes. Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Google Analytics, Amplitude, Mixpanel).
Experience with A/B testing, experimentation, and funnel optimization.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear and understandable terms. Excellent cross-functional project management skills. Familiarity with user experience design principles and processes. Creative problem-solving abilities and a willingness to experiment with new ideas.
