Area Profile:
The Mental Health Division within the East Metropolitan Health Service (EMHS) is the largest Mental Health Service in the region, covering a diverse geographical area. The division provides comprehensive care through 128 mental health beds, which are distributed across youth, adult, rehabilitation, and older adult inpatient units.

Position Profile:
Medipeople, the leading provider of Psychiatrist locums to Western Australia, is seeking suitably qualified Consultant Psychiatrists to join the Mental Health Division across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Safety and Quality of Care: Ensure high standards of patient safety and quality of care.
• Leadership and Supervision: Provide leadership, orientation, training, supervision, and education for doctors in training, Health Service Medical Practitioners, and other health workers.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the Medical Co-Director, Clinical Leads, and other Consultants to meet national, state, and EMHS performance standards and targets.
