Quality Technician

Solution 47 Recruitment are recruiting for a Quality Technician for our client near to Saffron Walden. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing engineering firm in a hands-on quality role. Candidates should have some knowledge or experience of mechanical measuring tools and techniques, ideally gained within an engineering or manufacturing environment.

Our client is a well-established manufacturer supplying into high-spec sectors and is looking for a detail-oriented individual to support their inspection and quality assurance processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect and measure components using tools such as micrometers, verniers, height gauges, and other precision instruments

*

Ensure products meet technical drawings and customer specifications

*

Identify and report non-conformances, supporting investigations and corrective actions

*

Maintain accurate quality records and support audit preparation

*

Collaborate with production and engineering teams to uphold quality standards

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Prior experience or familiarity with mechanical measurement techniques

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

A methodical, detail-focused approach

Good communication skills and a proactive attitude

Willingness to learn and grow within a quality role
