New Quantity Surveyor position in Maidstone, Kent. My client, an award winning carpentry subcontractor are looking for a Project Quantity Surveyor to join their team, reporting into the Commercial Manager.
The role:
Reporting into a Commercial Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the day to day running of 2 – 3 live sites with major contractors within the M25. Your role will involve but not be limited to:
* Reviewing programme of works
* Monthly progress meetings with the client
* Attend site visits to track progress
* Valuation of completed works and negotiating payments
* CVR’s on a monthly basis
* Cost control and reporting
* Looking after packages ranging from £1M – £12M
About you:
* Previous recent experience as a Quantity Surveyor
* A background/knowledge of carpentry is strongly favorable
* Qualified in a related field to HNC or above standard
* Experience working on schemes of a similar value would be preferable, but not essential
