Our vibrant and diverse coeducational secondary school and sixth form in Hackney is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated RE Teacher to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual who is committed to delivering engaging and inspiring lessons in Religious Education.
RE Teacher Job Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in Religious Education to students in secondary school and sixth form.
Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and encouraged to participate.
Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to cater to the diverse needs of students.
Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their academic development.
Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the development of the Religious Education curriculum.
Participate in school events and extracurricular activities to enrich the educational experience of students.
RE Teacher Job Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Religious Education.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
Commitment to promoting the values of diversity, equality, and inclusion.
Previous experience teaching Religious Education at secondary school level is desirable but not essential.
