Job Description:
A leading trade supplier of uPVC building materials with 70 branches/trade counters across the UK is looking to recruit a Roaming South East Regional Support Manager. (Operations and New Sales Responsibilities)
Their range of products includes windows, soffits, fascia’s and cladding, dry verge, guttering, cills, window boards, polycarbonate, conservatory roofing systems, composite doors, patio doors, sealants, cleaners, fixings, wall and ceiling panels and tools.
The Regional Support Manager will report to the South East Divisional Director and will help to oversee up to 20 branches within areas that include Hampshire, Berkshire, Sussex, Kent, Essex, West London.
Responsibilities will include:
· Daily support to branches by phone/email or visit.
· Branch visits within the region.
· Branch recruitment, working with the HR Department.
· Organising staff training.
· Branch health and safety checks.
· Monitoring individual branch stock levels.
· Organising & overseeing branch stocktakes / audits.
· Monitoring individual branch performance / KPI’s.
· Authorising holiday / uniform / stationary orders.
· Branch Management cover (holiday / sickness) when required.
· Helping with the opening of new branches within the South East.
The ideal candidate will be / have: –
Computer literate and able to use Excel, Word and the usual office applications daily (Training on the group IT System will be given).
Management experience within the Trade Building Plastics & Windows/Doors supply sector, although candidates with experience of the building material supply sector & sales would be considered.
Have a full driving license, able to be customer facing with excellent communication skills.
Be prepared to stay away from home, as and when required to cover branch holidays/sickness etc…
