Registered Home Manager

Salary: 37-50k per annum (depending on experience and qualifications) plus £2,000 annual car allowance
Location: Rural setting (must have access to a vehicle)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Home Manager to lead a residential children’s home, providing high-quality care for young people who have experienced trauma. This role offers the opportunity to make a real impact by creating a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment that supports emotional, social, and educational development.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and manage the home in line with regulations, policies, and best practices.

* Work with the Referrals Manager to ensure appropriate placements are made and maintained.

* Provide a safe, structured, and caring environment to support young people’s development.

* Build strong relationships with external agencies and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.

* Oversee incident reviews, debriefs, and reflective practice to maintain high-quality care standards.

Requirements:

* SVQ Level 7 (or equivalent) and at least one year’s experience as a Senior Residential Childcare Worker.

* Full UK manual driving licence with access to a vehicle.

* Ability to work within a rota system, including sleep-ins.

* Passion for supporting children and young people, with an interest in outdoor education being an advantage.
