Job Title: Mental Health Nurse (RMN/CPN) with Community Experience
Location: Nobles Hospital, Isle Of Man
Grade: Band 5/6/7
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: 3 to 6 months
Average Weekly Core Hours: Up to 37.5 hours per week
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Nurse (RMN/CPN) with community experience to provide compassionate, high-quality care to individuals with mental health needs. This role will involve working within the community to assess, plan, and deliver person-centered care. The position is for 3 to 6 months, with the potential for extension.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assessments & Care Planning: Conduct mental health assessments and create individualized care plans for service users.
* Community-Based Care: Deliver interventions in community settings, such as home visits or clinics.
* Collaboration: Work within a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with social workers, psychologists, and families to provide holistic care.
* Crisis Support: Offer immediate support during mental health crises, ensuring safe and appropriate responses.
* Therapeutic Interventions: Provide evidence-based interventions, supporting recovery and well-being.
* Monitoring & Documentation: Regularly review patient progress and maintain accurate records.
Essential Requirements:
* Experience: Significant experience in mental health nursing, particularly within community settings in the UK or Isle of Man.
* Qualifications: Registered Mental Health Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
* Skills: Strong understanding of mental health conditions, effective communication, and the ability to manage complex cases.
* Personal Attributes: Compassionate, organized, and able to work independently and within a team.
Working Hours:
* Up to 37.5 hours per week (core hours)
