Minimal Qualifications Required:
Current registration in good standing as Registered Practical Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario
A Nursing diploma from a recognized college
Minimal 2 doses for COVID-19 Vaccination
Effective written and oral communication in English

Duties include (but are not limited to):
Provides nursing care consistent with the College of Nurses of Ontario standards, Long-Term Care sector legislation, and the organizational policies and practices.
Completes all appropriate / assigned assessments within the required time frames.
Supervises care provided by the Health Care Aide/Personal Support Worker in collaboration with the Registered Nurse.
Assists the Registered Nurse in the oversight of the building, after hours and on weekends.
Observes and reports significant changes in the resident’s physical, cognitive, emotional, and social conditions in a manner that demonstrates respect and maintains privacy and confidentiality for each resident.
Maintains accurate, timely and complete clinical records on all residents according to established documentation policies and procedures and ensures the confidentiality of these records.
Administration of medication following all medication management policies
Maintains effective communication and positive, professional interpersonal relationships with residents, colleagues, families, visitors, medical, allied staff members and internal/external stakeholders.
Participates in all required education.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Charge Nurse/Director of Care
