About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a Reservations Officer based in Doha, Qatar.

You will be responsible to lead the Discover Qatar reservations team, provide seamless operations and excellent services to clients (B2B and B2C) and also to promote Qatar as a premium tourism destination. To enhance the customer service experience through formation and ongoing optimization of operational procedures, resources utilization, and manpower rostering.

As part of your role, your additional responsibilities will include, but not limited to, the following:

Plan optimum use of staff availability through effective job allocation and distribution of work resources in order to increase efficiency and productivity. Will be required to prioritize special requests and specific conditions when preparing rosters, ensuring that they provide adequate cover and deliver sufficient coverage to particular areas.
Lead and monitor dedicated DQ Operations Team to ensure excellent service quality and response time. Monitor all the incoming mails by customer / agent / station and take appropriate actions to ensure that all requests are handled within the agreed time frame as per DQ Service Level Agreement.
Work effectively with DQ internal teams (Sales, Product) in order to develop unique product & program proposals according to specific client requirements.
Monitor the DQ Operations team effective use of DQ booking system, Visa Application platform, and all related systems, and escalate any issues in a timely manner.
Acts as an interface between the Line Manager and QR departments to provide proper management of Customer Service issues (complaints, queries etc.).
Responsible for continuous training or updating all staff (new/ existing) on SOP and process updates.
Assist the Line Manager in preparing the budgets and be the first point of contact for any enquiries with the Finance Team.

Qualifications
About you:

The successful candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 4 years of job-related experience
Ability to multi task, and communicate well in English both written and spoken
Proficient in MS Office and tourism back office systems
DMC reservations/operations experience is preferred
Must have strong problem-solving skills and be capable of leading and performing well under pressure.
Destination knowledge of Qatar would be beneficial.
