Job Title: Hardware Rollout Engineer
Location: Stoke Mandeville Hospital, Aylesbury, HP21 8AL
Trust: Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust
Job Type/Shift Patterns: Full time, Monday Friday, 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm, 37.5 hours a week (100% Onsite along with some visits to the hospital in Amersham and also in High Wycombe)
Pay Rate: £18.66/Hr.
Must-have: UK Full Driving License
Responsibilities:
* Install and configure laptops and desktop systems, including OS setup, software installation, and user profile creation.
* Assemble and prepare desktop and laptop machines according to specifications, ensuring proper installation of hardware components and operating systems.
* Diagnose and resolve issues related to Apple and Android devices, including software, network connectivity, and hardware malfunctions.
* With the help of MDM Tool, configure and set up accounts for new users, including the setup of iCloud, App Store, and other essential services.
* Manage and oversee the deployment and setup of Apple and Android tablets, ensuring proper configuration and functionality.
* Perform system imaging on various hardware devices to ensure a consistent, standardized environment across all devices.
Required Experience:
* Proven experience in setting up and troubleshooting Apple and Android devices, including tablets and smartphones.
* Hands-on experience in building and configuring desktops, laptops, and other hardware devices.
* Experience in system imaging tools and deployment processes for operating systems and software installations.
* Strong troubleshooting skills in identifying and resolving hardware and software issues across various devices.
* Extensive familiarity with Apple products, including MacBooks, iPads, and related accessories along with familiarity with the setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of Android-based tablets and phones.
