Salaried GP Opportunity Up to 6 Sessions Per Week
Location: Coastal Town, Angus

A forward-thinking, community-focused GP practice is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Salaried GP to join their dedicated team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive environment with a strong emphasis on professional development, work-life balance, and patient-centred care.

Key Details:

* Sessions: Up to 6 per week (ideally Thursday & Friday + flexibility for another day)

* Salary: £10,500 – £10,700 per session under a BMA-approved contract, with DDRB recommended yearly uplifts

* Golden Hello: Potential £7K-£8K (subject to NHS Tayside criteria), usually paid in Month 2 of employment (Tax & NI applicable, minimum 2-year commitment required)

* Start Date: ASAP or within notice period

Practice Overview:

* Patient List: 13,200 (diverse demographic)

* Purpose-built centre with modern facilities, including 11 GP consulting rooms, 5 practice nurse rooms, minor surgery and phlebotomy rooms

* Technology: Vision, Docman, eConsult for efficient workload management

* Strong training focus: Actively involved in GP training with ST1, ST3, FY2, and medical students (many stay post-training)

Workload & Team Structure:

* Team: 10 GPs (7 Partners, 3 Salaried GPs), 4-5 regular locum GPs, 3 PT Practice Nurses, 2 HCAs, Practice Pharmacist, and an experienced administrative team

* Work Schedule:

* AM Clinic: 13 patients

* PM Clinic: 12 patients

* Home Visits: Avg. 2 per day, shared across the team (likely 1 visit per week for 6-session GPs)

* Duty Session: 1 AM or PM session per week
