Sales Executive – Business to Business sales – New and Repeat Business

£26k – £30k DoE + Competitive Commission Structure – with Uncapped Earnings Potential

5D Recruitment are proud to be working exclusively with a specialist fabrication company that designs and manufactures a wide range of products, from architectural metal work, through to portable bars, furniture, and market leading security products.

Their most successful product range is portable dance floors and bars, which are sold globally to wedding venues and event management companies, from small local based businesses, through to the largest luxury hotel brands in the world. As part of a considered growth strategy, we are looking to recruit at least one, potentially two sales and business development roles to help the business grow.

What the role will involve:

* 80% of this role is new business, using a variety of methods, including email and social media, lead generation, and following up on incoming enquiries.

* Working with the marketing team to maximize the use of social media – this will include platforms like Instagram, Facebook, snapchat and LinkedIn to generate leads with the aim of converting them into sales.

* You will be selling to a wide variety of people, from owners and directors, through to event coordinators, and operations managers.

* You will manage the sales process from initial contact through to order delivery.

* Lead generation – this could come from previous customers, market intelligence, following up on incoming enquiries, identifying shows and exhibitions to visit or even exhibit at, through to directories and networking with existing clients.

* As this role develops there will be an increasing amount of repeat business and client relationships to manager – which is the other 20% of the role.

What they are looking for in a candidate:

* Confident, outgoing, and an excellent communicator – in both written and spoken communication.

* Experience in speaking to people, this could be in a business to business (B2B), or business to consumer (B2C) setting.

* Ideally this will be in a sales environment, but it could also be in customer service, complaint handling etc.

* Happy to cold call new client – this includes identifying points of contact to target, understanding decision makers and targeting them.

* IT literate – able to communicate effectively over email, and to update the CRM and sales order systems.
