Pay Rate: £83.33 – £90 per day (depending on experience)

About the Role: We are looking for a dedicated and resilient Teaching Assistant to join our team on a full-time supply basis at a special school in Stoke-on-Trent. This role offers an excellent opportunity to support students with complex behaviours and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs, making a meaningful impact on their educational journey.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide support to students with complex behaviours and SEMH needs.
Assist the classroom teacher in delivering tailored educational programs and interventions.
Implement behaviour management strategies to support students in managing their behaviour.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and participation.
Support students in developing their social skills and emotional regulations.
Help with the preparation of learning materials and classroom resources.
Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to the teaching staff.

Requirements:
Previous experience working with children with SEMH needs and complex behaviours is highly desirable.
