SEN Teacher – Gorton:
Prospero Teaching are currently seeking a qualified SEN Teacher to join a lovely, “Outstanding” rated school in Gorton. This is for a full time, long-term position, teaching children with complex needs and autism.
The Role:
· Developing and delivering engaging lessons
· Differentiating learning activities to meet individual needs
· Working collaboratively with staff and external agencies to monitor progress and EHCPs
· De-escalating behaviour in a positive but effective manner
Position Details:
· Location: Gorton
· Position: SEN teacher
· Hours: 9:30am – 3:30pm
· Type of Work: Temporary
· Full time/Part time: Full time only
· Rate of Pay: GBP170- GBP200 per day, depending on experience
· Start date: ASAP
· End date: July 2025, possibly longer
Experience, Training & Qualifications:
· Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
· Qualified Teacher Status is desired for this position
· Previous experience teaching within a similar educational setting is essential
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
· Hold Right to Work in the UK
· Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
· Provide two professional references
