This Bristol school is looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join their SEN team as soon as possible. This school is centred around its student’s wellbeing, with its pupils at the forefront of everything the staff does. Within this school there is a fantastic SEN team that you will come to know and become a part of as you assist in the development of these children. Your new role
As a SEN Learning Support Assistant, you will be required to be patient and empathetic as you will be working with children that have additional needs that require extra support from yourself, extra time and may need things going over at different times and in different ways. To interact with students, teachers and parents, you will need to be clear and effective with your communication as you will be interacting with students, teachers and parents.
Requirements to succeed in your new role
Teaching Assistant qualification
Two working references from your most recent jobs that apply relevance to the position
Previous experience with children with additional needs is desirable
