Senior Childcare Practitioner

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Residential Childcare Practitioner for a Children’s Home in Acocks Green. As a Senior Residential Childcare Practitioner, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the children/young people in your care. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young children.

Senior Childcare Practitioner Vacancy Details:

Salary = from £24,375

Contract type = Permanent

Job Type = Full Time

Responsibilities:
– Create a safe and nurturing environment for children
– Support young people through their daily routines by accompanying, where necessary, to and from activities, school, learning environments, appointments etc.
– Maintaining a safe and clean home environment
– Maintaining confidentiality at all times
– Participate in supervision, personal development plans and attend mandatory training
– Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and milestones
– Ensure all reports and documentation are up to date in accordance to company policies and procedures

Experience:
– Working towards or completed Level 3/4 Diploma in Children’s and Young People workforce
– 2 years experience working with Children in a residential setting
– Valid driver’s license prefable
