The Company:
This international FMCG business has been established in New Zealand for 20 years and continues to grow its market share. They dominate their category in the NZ market and supply an export market of over 100 countries. With a desire to continue growing the business and improving efficiencies, there are long term plans to expand their manufacturing capability by in time, adding manufacturing sites offshore to better service the AsiaPac region.
The Role:
As the Senior Financial Accountant, you will play a key part in managing and maintaining accurate financial data for the offices in Australia and Korea. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for various accounting processes and supporting financial tasks.
Responsibilities:
Financial accounting and reporting.
Work closely with key stakeholders to gather financial data and insights.
Assist the Financial Controller in various financial tasks, including financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting and cashflow management.
Work closely with key stakeholders to gather financial data and insights.
Managing accounting processes and activities.
About You:
To be considered for this position you will be a fully qualified accountant and have proven experience as a Financial Accountant, ideally within FMCG or similar. You will be a natural problem solver who enjoys working collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Proficiency in using Power BI and/or Power Apps for financial reporting and analysis is desired but not essential.
