Senior Project Manager
This is a client facing project management role where you will be running commercial relocation and
refurbishment projects. We act for clients mainly in London, Cambridge and Manchester but also work
all over the UK and occasionally in Europe. Our projects tend to range between 5000 sqft to 120,000
sqft and are usually tendered on a Design and Build basis. You will join a successful and collaborative
team, where our business is growing and our turnover is around £1,000,000 – £1,500,000 in fees of
which about £800,000 of that is project management. This is an important varied role, which is highly
rewarding and an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys running multiple projects at any one
time, all in various stages.

Highly organised and proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Microsoft Project
Highly self-motivated
A team player able to work with both the design and project management side of the business
Pro-actively improving processes
Managing your own projects
A dynamic and good communicator and able to run client and contractor meetings
Here is more information on the tasks you’ll be conducting:
Project Familiarisation
o Understanding the Client requirement
o Producing bespoke fee proposals
o Producing Project Programmes
o Understanding the building and tenant fit out guides
Specifications
o Creating fit out specifications
o Creating fit out budgets
o Introducing specialist sub-consultants where required
o Producing tender packages
o Tender management and analysis
o Cost consultancy and cost negotiation with contractors
o Value engineering and maintaining the design intent
Contract Administration
o Providing supporting documents to JCT Design and Build contracts
o Liaising with Construction Lawyers
o Providing Cash Flow forecasts
o Creating Employer’s Requirements documents
o Carrying out valuations on site
o Managing variations
o Managing the snagging process
Project management and Support
o Coordinating aspects of a project outside the construction contract such as furniture,
IT, security, AV, comms lines etc.
o Working with the Landlords to gain approvals
o Conducting site meetings
This Senior Project Manager position, is a hybrid role where majority of your time will be spent on site
at client locations carrying out project meetings and site visits etc or working from home. We have
offices located in London, Manchester and Cambridge and these are available to you as and when
required. The role will cover the UK with majority of projects mainly in London, however travel to
remote projects will be expected. This is a full-time position.
Essential Skills and Experience you will have:
Ability to work well in a dynamic and fast-paced organization and manage multiple tasks and
conflicting priorities
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, and a good command of business
language
Ability to work effectively as part of a team, and on own initiative
Demonstrate the ability to work under pressure against tight deadlines, whilst maintaining
composure, and ensuring accuracy and attention to detail is not compromised
Strong computer skills required with advanced knowledge of MS Office and the ability to
adapt to new systems and contribute to their effective implementation
Possess a strong sense of integrity with the ability to handle sensitive issues and maintain
complete confidentiality at all times
Ability to adapt and prioritise effectively to changing circumstances and priorities
Demonstrable experience of working in a flexible way, with the ability and willingness to adapt
to new ways of working
Must be highly motivated and demonstrate the ability to work proactively
Desire and ability to find cost effective solutions and improve efficiency of processes
Ability to build effective working relationships at all levels and across all functions, including
management of client relationships
Demonstrable experience of working collaboratively across teams, functions and at all levels
to achieve results and desired outcomes
Highly developed organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and
manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Must be solutions focussed with a desire to achieve results and work to tight deadlines
Flexibility and adaptability is paramount for this role
Experience of events and meetings management and co-ordination
Approachable
Ability to understand priorities, and make good judgements
Experience of budget management would be advantageous
