Your new role
As a Senior Contract Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring that the commercial documents used in securing subcontract and supplier tenders are properly coordinated with the technical documents and the Head contract and that they follow procedures and standards. You will lead negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure profitable outcomes; procure labour/subcontractor services; and manage financial activities with a focus on cash flow, profit maximisation, variations, reporting and administration.
What you’ll need to succeed
• Bachelor’s Degree in construction management, Quantity Surveying or a related field
• Background in Construction or Building and ability to read plans
• Experience in quantity surveying/estimating
• Understanding of contracts and of legal issues pertaining to contracts
• Knowledge of tender processes
• Financial understanding and knowledge of construction costs
