Senior Staff Nurse – Cardiology

Based in London

Contract Permanent: Full Time 37.5 hours per week. Monday to Friday.

Salary: up to £46,900 per annum plus Benefits

An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit an enthusiastic, motivated and dynamic Cardiology experienced registered staff nurse to step up into a senior role.

Role Summary:

Who we’re looking for:

* Work as part of the team to deliver interventional Cardiology procedures, using your experience perform ECG,s, monitor and observe patients throughout their attendance at the Unit.

* Support and assist Consultants and senior staff during cardiology diagnostic procedures.

* Planning and smooth running of the cardiology clinics in the absence of the Cardiology Sister/Charge Nurse

* You will contribute to the development of services and quality improvement initiatives within a collaborative framework to enhance patient experience.

* Support and educate patients and families throughout their journey.

* Essential: NMC Registered Nurse minimum 4 years experience preferably in a Cardiology/Cardiac setting.

* Desirable: ECG / rhythm recognition and interpretation.

* Essential: ALS / ILS provider. ALS training will be provided.

* Essential: Knowledge and understanding of the Cardiology patient and family dynamics.

* Desirable: higher level monitoring and dependency experience

* Desirable: Leadership/team management experience.
