Teaching Assistant, Bradford

Hays Education are currently working with a Partnership school located in Bradford to recruit a full-time Teaching Assistant to start in September. This teaching assistant job will be Monday – Friday from 8:30am – 15:30pm. The school requires someone who has experience of managing behaviour in the classroom and is passionate about primary education.
To be considered for this Teaching Assistant job, it is essential you have recent experience working with children in a primary setting or a PDNMinimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant/early years’ qualification (or qualified by experience). The ability to manage groups of children and be able to manage challenging behaviour. The ability to quickly build good relationships with students, parents and other practitioners. Have previous experience working with SEN and EAL children.
In addition, it is ideal that you are/have;
Highly adaptable as there may be instances where you will have to cover in various classes
Confident, organised and, at times, diplomatic
Patient and creative
Have a proven track record of developing children
DBS on the update service
