Your new school
Do you have experience working with pupils with additional support needs?
I am currently recruiting for a full-time Teaching Assistant in a primary school in Bristol to start immediately. They are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join their team on a long term basis until Christmas, however but funding is in place for a permanent position.
Your new role
The SENCo at this Bristol primary school are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant for this long-term job. You will be supporting a pupil with Autism Spectrum Disorder in EYFS on a 1:1 basis within the class environment for half of the day and as a general classroom assistant for the afternoons.
The pupil requires support with their communication and is not currently using words to communicate. They have transitioned to the school well, but need some support interacting with the other children in the class and sharing.
What you’ll need to succeed
You will have specific school based experience in a Teaching Assistant job
Two previous long term placement references completed
