Job Description: Teaching Assistant – Mainstream – KS1

Location:

Salford, M30

Job Type:

Temporary, Full-Time (Monday to Friday – 8:30 – 3:30) 

Salary:

£85 – £95 Per day

Job Duties:

Assist the class teacher in preparing and delivering lessons
Support students with their learning and development
Provide one-on-one or small group support to students
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Manage classroom behaviour
Assist with administrative tasks as required

Required:

Previous experience working with children or young people
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Experience:

Previous experience working with children or young people is beneficial

Knowledge and Skills:

Understanding of child development and learning processes
Ability to build positive relationships with students
Basic understanding of classroom management techniques

Preferred Qualifications:

Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification

Working Conditions:

Work in a mainstream educational setting
Full-time hours with occasional overtime
