Your new school:
This Bristol-based primary school is in search of an experienced Teaching Assistant to join their SEN team as soon as possible. This school has a well-versed SEN programme within their school, tailored towards each child with individuals working 1.1 with them, helping and assisting with all needs, both educational and developmental. This BS15 school values community and high-quality education for all that are learning there. This school is along a public bus route and has a car park on site.
Your new role:
This role will require you to have previous SEN. This is mandatory as the role involves 1.1 support within the classroom with a specific child for the school day. The child’s needs consist of communication and interactive needs along with social needs that their key person will have to have a hand in as they guide the child through their school day. This role will be well-supported by the SEN team as they help you with your duties, including assisting with the child’s EHCP, communicating with the child and relaying the day to its parents/guardians.
Requirements to succeed in your new role
Teaching Assistant experience within the last two years
Experience with children with SEN needs is mandatory.
Two working references from your most recent jobs that apply relevance to the position
Previous experience within a school
