About the Role:

You will be joining a RACP accredited tertiary teaching facility as a Cardiology Advanced Trainee – Unaccredited Trainee Registrar. You’ll be at the forefront of cardiology care, working alongside a team of experienced cardiologists and multidisciplinary professionals. You’ll gain exposure to cases you won’t see elsewhere, all while enjoying the perks of a location that offers a laid-back lifestyle and stunning natural beauty.

Here’s a sneak peek at what you’ll be doing:

• Participate in outpatient clinics, inpatient rounds, and procedural work.
• Work closely with senior staff to assess and manage patients with complex cardiac conditions.
• Assist with diagnostic procedures like echocardiography, stress testing, and cardiac catheterisation.
• Contribute to research, audits, and quality improvement projects.
• Take part in after-hours rosters, because real learning happens when the unexpected strikes.

What We’re Looking For:

• General registration with AHPRA
• SIMGs with partially comparable outcome in Cardiology are encouraged to apply
• Completion of at least three postgraduate years in a hospital setting, including exposure to acute care.
• A keen interest in cardiology and a hunger to learn the ropes in a challenging yet rewarding environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills – because saving lives is a team sport.
• A cool head under pressure and a knack for solving problems on the fly.
