We are currently representing a company which has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor, based over in Halesowen, our client is a well-established distribution company.
The company specialises in the distribution of surface materials to commercial and residential sectors.
Responsibilities:
* Supervise daily warehouse activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
* Manage a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent performance across the team.
* Utilise WMS software for tracking inventory levels and orders.
* Ability to manage your own workload and have good attention to detail.
Skills:
* Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory or similar position.
* Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including materials handling and inventory management techniques.
* Experience with heavy lifting and operating a counterbalance is desirable.
* Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively while fostering a collaborative work environment.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
