ITS is hiring on behalf of a leading contractor specializing in commercial refurbishment projects for schools across Woking and the surrounding areas. We are looking for an experienced Working Foreman with a strong carpentry background to oversee and take part in high-quality refurbishment works in educational environments.
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
✔ Hands-on involvement in carpentry and refurbishment work
✔ Supervising & coordinating teams to meet project deadlines
✔ Ensuring strict health & safety compliance in school environments
✔ Liaising with school representatives, site managers, and contractors
✔ Conducting quality checks and ensuring high standards of workmanship
🎯 Requirements:
✅ 3+ years of experience in a supervisory role within carpentry & refurbishment
✅ Strong knowledge of internal & external refurbishment in schools
✅ Ability to lead by example and work alongside the team
✅ Valid CSCS card & SSSTS certification (Essential)
✅ Enhanced DBS Check (Desirable due to school environment)
